Event Description:

16 hours of HANDS-ON CE An Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) class
facilitated by CPR Louisville and The American Heart Association

This is an ACLS course designed especially for dentists. This hands on course
will include training that is custom made to equip dental practitioners with
the skills necessary to respond appropriately to a cardiac emergency that
could occur in the dental office.

“In this first time ACLS American Heart Association course, students will utilize their assessment skills, cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, and knowledge of the ACLS treatment algorithms to manage cardiac arrest, cardiovascular emergencies, and respiratory arrest. The course is led by experienced AHA ACLS instructors who are focused on student success. They work hard to insure a stress–free classroom environment. Our philosophy is that optimal learning occurs when students are relaxed.”

Date of Training: 12/15/2015-12/16/2017
Time of Training: 8:30am both days
The course will be held at The ADL Dental Lab Instruction Suite, 4411 Poplar Level Road, Louisville KY 40213
( just south of I-264, under the viaduct, over Poplar Level Road)

The ACLS class content will be presented through a combination of lecture, video, and hands on practice. Throughout the class, students will demonstrate their skills by performing CPR with an AED, managing respiratory arrest, leading a team through a mega code, and passing a written multiple choice exam. CPR Louisville instructors have a goal of helping each student be successful at learning and mastering all of the skills taught in our ACLS class. Our instructors walk students through the course step by step and take extra time to answer all questions along the way. CPR Louisville has a goal of making each class FUN and STRESS FREE!
